Look-up Lions Frequently Asked Questions

	1.	What is Look-up Lions?

	This new feature, sponsored by the Concord University Alumni Office, can help you to get in touch with lost classmates. 
	Create a profile to help your classmates identify you! To get started, click the back button on your browser and then 
	simply click "Register" on the menu bar.

	2.	How do I register for an account?

	Simply click on the register button located in the Look-up Lions area. You will then need to fill out the form in 
	its entirety. Once you have completed and submitted the form, you will then be registered and have all the privileges
	of other members.

	3.	What is a profile?

	A profile is information about yourself that you wish to share with other Alumni from Concord University. 

	4.	How do I create a profile?

	In order to create a profile, you must first log in. To log in, click the login button located on any page of the Look-up 
	Lions section of the website. Once you are logged in, you will be taken to your "profile" page. Click Edit Profile 
	Information at the top of the page. This is where you may enter information about yourself for other Alumni to see. 
	Creating a profile is optional.

	5.	My profile isn't showing up

	The Concord University Alumni Office must approve your profile before it is posted publicly. This may take up to 5 
	business days to complete so we appreciate your patience. The reasons for screening profiles is to ensure that 
	inappropriate materials are not posted on this website.

	6.	How do I change my profile?

	Changing your profile is as easy as creating one. You will need to log in before editing your profile. Once logged in, 
	you will be taken to your "profile" page. Click Edit Profile Information at the top of the page. You may change any 
	information that you deem necessary.

	7.	Error: Duplicate Entry

	You have clicked the submit button more than once. Please be sure to only click the submit button one time and 
	wait for the program to accept your data.

	8.	Error in Query

	An internal error has occurred within the program. Please e-mail Kati Whittaker by clicking the E-mail button 
	located in the Look-up Lions section of this website. Please be sure to include all the information about the error
	that is printed to the screen. Kati will contact the programmers and the problem will be resolved shortly.

	9. 	Invalid Username / Password

	There could be several reasons for an invalid username and/ or password error. Please check the following list of 
	possibilities:
		·   You are not registered, therefore your username and password do not exist
		·   You have entered your username / password incorrectly, please try again.
		·   You have forgotten your password. Please click the Lost Password link on the Login page. 
		    Your password will be e-mailed to the e-mail address that you specified when your registered.
		·   You have forgotten your username. You will need to contact Kati Whittaker via e-mail.
		·   Your account may have been modified or deleted by a System Administrator if you violated the 
		    Legal Disclaimer in any form, fashion, or method. Please contact Kati Whittaker via e-mail if you 
		    believe this has occurred by accident.

	10.	Search by name does not seem to work

	In order for the search to work correctly, you need to know the exact spelling of the individual you are trying to 
	find. The search is NOT case sensitive. Also, no individual may be registered under that name. The search only 
	displays registered members.

	11.	Search by year does not seem to work

	Please be sure you have entered the year in a valid format (i.e. 1998). There may be no registered members from 
	the year you have specified. 

	12.	How do I contact someone I found using Look-up Lions?

	You may contact a member by using the e-mail address that they specified when they registered. Their e-mail 
	address will be located on their profile.
